Biography

Born in San Miniato (Pi) on 17/01/1994. She studied Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara where she obtained her first and second level degrees in the same discipline. During her years of study she took part in numerous group exhibitions in Italy and collaborated with some studios in Carrara and Pietrasanta to acquire greater knowledge in marble working. In 2017 she won the bronze fusion of one of her works for the competition entitled The Way of the Cross organized by the diocese of Massa and in 2019 she won the Purchase Award at the International Sculpture Competition Edgardo Mannucci organized by the City of Arcevia, in the province of Ancona. She took part in the Antonio Berti Sculpture Symposium in San Piero a Sieve (Fi) in 2018, and in 2019 in the Fontane marble Sculpture Symposium for Castellina in Livorno and in the Marmi e Monti Symposium in Campocecina (Ms). In 2019 she met the artist Costas Varotsos and began a collaboration as an assistant for the design and construction of the work La Totalità located near Renzo Piano’s skyscraper in Turin.  In 2021 she took part in the sculpture exhibition in Carrara at the Rebis Atelier Gallery.  In 2022 she partecipates in the Borgo Universo sculpture symposium in Abruzzo and in the Land Art project in collaboration with the artist Vito Maiullari, in the region of Apulia. In 2023, together with the La Casa dei Pesci Association, she creates the piece Big Splash, an underwater monument in Carrara marble that will be part of the Submarine Museum near Talamone (GR). Also in 2023, she won the Mariagrazia Vaccari Sculpture competition, which envisaged the placement of a terracotta work in the Renai park in Signa (Fi). In 2024, she was selected for the European project Art4Sea, an artistic residency on the Greek island of Alonissos. 

She currently lives between Roma and Carrara working as a sculpture teacher and at the same time pursuing her own artistic research.
